Mike Baur’s interest for finance and banking commenced all the way back while he was a teenager in Fribourg, Switzerland, his home town. It was not a surprise that he later pursued his interest and pursued a career out of the same field. Mike studied at University of Rochester and University of Bern where he attained a MBA & executive MBA respectively.
He spent 20 fruitful years within the Swiss banking sector where he rose through different ranks at a big Swiss private bank as an executive board member. Other institutions that Mike worked include Sallfort and Clariden banks.
Mikes entrepreneurial journey began in 2014 when he was 39 years. In partnership with two other individuals, he commenced Swiss Startup Factory to support and mentor young digital innovators an organization that is privately owned and independently financed. It is the first of its type in Switzerland operating standard three-month accelerator programs for business people.
With a great passion for youth, Mike spends a lot of time offering supporting to youth entrepreneurship by offering financial and coaching help to promising startups. Currently, he is the CEO and co-founder of Swiss Startup Factory. Mike is likewise in charge of fundraising and financing at Swiss Startup Factory.
Swiss Startup Factory – SSUF was begun in 2014 in Zurich with its key aim being to identify and offer support to thriving and nascent digital entrepreneurs.
