Hussain Sajwani is the founder and chairman of DAMAC properties, a Dubai-based luxury real estate firm that he established in 2002. Before forming his company, Sajwani worked in the food service business by catering to the United States military and construction giant known as Bechtel. In 2001 Hussain Sajwani shifted to real estate business by establishing DAMAC properties, which grew to become the most significant property development firms in the Middle East.
Sajwani’s interest is in real estate. Immediately after Dubai allowed foreign investors in 2001, Hussain Sajwani shifted his attention to real estate through the sale of luxury houses and apartments in Dubai. Sajwani realized that the real estate industry in Dubai was not fully exploited and he decided to work with businesses supplying raw materials such as concrete, steel, nails, and firms well known in the construction of luxury apartments across the nation.
In an interview with CNBC, Hussain Sajwani is very close to current U.S. president, Donald Trump. Based on reports that appeared on several widely-followed American media firms, Trump was recently spotted lavishing on Sajwani’s DAMAC properties in Florida. In fact, Sajwani and his family were invited to the party with Trump referring to them as “the most beautiful people.” Furthermore, Sajwani was happy with Trump’s victory and pledged to further strengthen and enhance his relationship with Trump Organization.

Since its inception, DAMAC properties has always been located in Dubai. The history of the company can be traced back to 1992 although its full operations began in 2002 with DAMAC properties being listed in the London Stock Exchange in 2013.
Hussain Sajwani is a philanthropic person. He is well known for his philanthropy by supporting and providing financial aid to some projects and other needs. For instance, Hussain Sajwani recently donated one million to the UAE Red Crescent aimed at helping refugees. Others include donations to children in need of clothes and families in need of housing.
